Camping with Tommy!

Hello all, great pictures from the family reunion, sorry I couldn't make it! Zach and I spent this past weekend camping on the Canadian border. We recently adopted an ex-racing greyhound named Tommy Bahama. Most greyhounds are not suited to be out-doors kind of dog, but we're determined to have him swimming, camping and canoeing in no time! Hope all is well with everyone else and if you ever want a break from the heat, NY is beautiful in the Summers!

reunion 7-7-07

Thanks to Dan for arranging another family reunion. We had a wonderful time.

After enjoying an Alabama feast, Dan kept everyone on their toes bidding at the family auction. How many treasures did you take home?

David and Daniel found restful spots at Peggy's to end another wonderful family reunion.

We hope you'll share your memories with us here at The Homeplace.

Disney Days with Connor's Family

We had a wonderful time with Connor, Sidney and Allison yesterday. The weather was sunny for drumming, driving and seeing favorite Disney friends. We topped off the night with a 60's concert by Petula Clark singing Downtown and watching fireworks. Connor would love to share his parks with cousins. Isn't it time for a Florida vacation? Marcia and Jim Go To Hawaii

Jim and Marcia got invitations to do some cool stuff on Oahu. With an assist from Frommer's guide we found the best ever, cheap, '60s pre-meeting Mom and Pop hotel on Waikiki. The fridge was stocked with pineapple.

We bought a city bus pass that even takes folks through mountains and circumference of Oahu (Route 52). Saw surfer girls at Waimea Bay, drooled over pineapple plantations, climbed Diamond Head, cooled off with shave ice at Haleiwa (you too try li hing mui flavor with sweet adzuki (Japanese) beans), said "Thanks" to some resting bones in Punchbowl Crater National Cemetary of the Pacific (WWII, Korea, and RVN), and ended at the emerald, snorkeling waters of Hanauma Bay.

The gig took us to orchid and tropical foliage shippers.

Our last sunrise at the Kahala work-site brought dreams of friends and kin visiting us in our retirement hut on Oahu. Aloha!!

Finally some snow!

Hello All, I love this new blog its a great way to keep in touch and see what everyone is up to! Zach and I have been keeping busy this winter. Spring semester just started and I am taking two classes and working full time. Zach is still enjoying Lockheed and has been keeping busy there. Other than that we have been trying to ski every weekend and catch up for lost time. We got our first real snow last week! So we celebrated by taking a long weekend and driving to Vermont to ski. We toured around on Mount Killington and Stratton and returned back to Binghamton only slightly bruised and sore.

We have recently been trying to motivate ourselves to plan our wedding. Not much planning has actually been done. We have an area and a time frame, but thats about it. So I guess everyone can plan on Saratoga Springs, NY (40 minuets north of Albany) and February, 2008. I know my roots are southern but I really feel like the Price family needs to experience a real winter. Saratoga Springs is a quaint town that has something to offer for everyone. I personally have always enjoyed the shopping in Saratoga. Their downtown area is filled with art galleries, pottery studios and coffee shops. Saratoga also has an abundance of parks and historic sites. Most notably the Saratoga battlefield and museum. The battle of Saratoga by many was considered the turning point of the revolutionary war. You can also find monuments to Benedict Arnold (although you will not find his name on them).

So those are our plans thus far hope everyone is well and look forward to seeing new post.

Update from Miami

Eric and I have been enjoying the very best of Miami this winter...the keys last weekend and Fairchild Tropical Gardens this weekend...no complaints here! I've been interviewing for the past week for a buyer promotion. Will have to meet with the CEO this coming week...a bit nervous about that one!! All ladies under 5'4", I'll be the new Better Petite buyer in Florida!! Eric is doing well, got to see a little courtroom action last Friday. Watched a few motions get denied and then saw a 21 year-old cartel dealer put away...Take care...Nic and Eric
