Update from Miami

Eric and I have been enjoying the very best of Miami this winter...the keys last weekend and Fairchild Tropical Gardens this weekend...no complaints here! I've been interviewing for the past week for a buyer promotion. Will have to meet with the CEO this coming week...a bit nervous about that one!! All ladies under 5'4", I'll be the new Better Petite buyer in Florida!! Eric is doing well, got to see a little courtroom action last Friday. Watched a few motions get denied and then saw a 21 year-old cartel dealer put away...Take care...Nic and Eric

Nicole;
Your pics are great. I know that you had a terrific weekend at Fairchild Gardens, etc. A friend at work has an old book, “The World Was My Garden” by that Fairchild. He was quite a plantsman.

We are very proud of your ascending to Macy’s Better Petite buyer of Florida. Congrats!! We know how hard you work to have the best stuff at Macy’s.

I am wearing the shoes and belt components of the Macy’s outfit you guys steered me into and really look forward to the dapper me when we connect for the fitted suite.

Miami Super Bowl this weekend! Do you have tickets to spare and a place to crash? Marcia and I could enjoy a surprise as that…or, are those things reserved for the Best Petite buyer of Florida?

Marcia and I were really cultured this weekend with a Sarasota wine/cocktails, expensive little things strolled on a silver tray, and Ray Charles (revue) “I can’t Stop loving You” performance. It was an uppity benefit for a great cause. Part of the evening’s activities included a benefit auction of some original paintings and a pair of donated, new Vespa motor scooters. In junior high I dreamed of owning a Vespa and there I was faced with the possibility of owning two of them. Alas, I still get around in my old VW.

The cultured weekend ended Sunday p.m. with a Tampa performance of Spamalot.

Thanks for the chat and really cool pics.

Jim
